Little Ongava is an exclusive safari lodge near the Etosha National Park. It offers stunning accommodation and a unique experience for the discerning traveller because there are only three spacious luxury chalets. The chalets are on a rocky outcrop and overlook an active waterhole. The lodge is known for the panoramic views from the chalets.

This camp is in Ongava Game Reserve, which offers fly-in safaris on top of their Little Ongava packages. Because the area is a wildlife conservancy, it offers guests a unique experience of getting in touch with nature. Various Ongava Game Reserve activities are included in your package.

Little Ongava is all about exclusivity and personalised service. Only six guests can stay at a time, making it very private. Each unit has a private plunge pool and a living area to spend a lazy afternoon. The bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower and a bath with a view.

The dining and lounge area has a beautiful view over the bush and waterhole. Unquestionably, this is guests’ favourite place to socialize and enjoy a delicious meal.

Activities at Little Ongava revolve around day and night game viewing, visiting hides at various waterholes and game drives into Etosha and In Ongava. The hide at the lodge’s waterhole provides excellent photographic opportunities for any photographer.

Little Ongava Private Lodge

There are three four-star units.
You can relax in your private plunge pool.
Air conditioning in the bedroom.
You will have a bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities.
In-room dining is an option.
The lounge has a private viewing deck.
There are hairdryers in each unit.
The bathroom inside the units comes with a stunning view.
The units have indoor and outdoor showers.
Soap, shampoo, body lotion, torch and insect repellent are included inside each unit.
There is a safe in each unit.

Activities at Ongava

You can embark on morning and afternoon game drives in Etosha.
There are few things better than morning and afternoon game drives.
Enjoy the guided nature walks.
You can also explore the night game drives.
Activities are inclusive in the rate.

Private Activities

The private activity service includes all the regular activities in that camp, be it guided walks or game drives.
Only applicable to the Fully Inclusive Package.
The group size of a booking is not a default guarantee for exclusive use. Please book and change accordingly if guests want a guaranteed private vehicle and guide.
The private activity service commences with the afternoon activity on the day of arrival and ends with the morning activity on the day of departure.
Little Ongava does not have a private vehicle. Unique activities at Little Ongava are on request and subject to the availability of the other private cars on the Reserve.
Private vehicles are only bookable for consecutive days. Ongava cannot accept a reservation request for a personal vehicle activity on DAY 1 and then again on DAY 3 (DAY 2 might be complete). This negatively impacts the lodge scheduling of the guides, resulting in unsatisfactory service.

2026 rates are valid from 11 January 2026 to 10 January 2027; 2027 rates are valid from 11 January 2027 to 10 January 2028.
Rates are quoted in Namibian dollars per night unless otherwise stated.
Children aged 16 years and younger qualify for the child rate when sharing with at least one paying adult; guests aged 17 years and older pay the adult rate.
The mandatory conservation fee is charged separately, is non-commissionable and is not included in the accommodation rate.
The mandatory 1% Government Tourism Levy, calculated before 15% VAT, is included.
Transport to and from Ongava Game Reserve and the lodges is the guest’s own arrangement.
The Ongava Airfield passenger fee is included in the accommodation rate. Road transfers between the camp and airfield are included on Fully Inclusive bookings.
The minimum age for the hide is 11 years and the minimum age for nature walks is 16 years.
Fully Inclusive rates include accommodation, all meals, twice-daily scheduled camp activities, park fees, laundry, Namibian VAT, the Tourism Levy and local drinks, excluding premium imported brands and champagne.
No single supplement applies in 2027.
A sole-use guide and vehicle are included at Horizon.
Children aged 0 to 11 years require an exclusive-use booking. Parties travelling with children aged 11 years and younger require private activities unless the lodge is booked exclusively.
