Mushara Bush Camp is only 10 km from the Von Lindequist entrance gate of Etosha National Park. It’s a tented camp with a down to earth feel, perfect for families and independent travellers. It’s part of the exclusive Mushara Collection.

It is a very natural camp within the wilderness of the Etosha region. The bush camp is perfect if you want to get away from the Etosha crowds during the high season. Compared to other luxury lodges, the camp offers an affordable stay.

The camp accommodates 32 guests and eight children in the custom-built tented chalets. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served from the main house area under a thatched roof with the bush only meters away.

Dear Parents

Children are most welcome. There is a play area at the main house with books, toys, drawing utensils, creative games, and friendly childminders.

An outside play park sports a jungle gym, an old tractor and a sandpit. There is also a kiddies pool.

Mushara Bush Camp Child Policy

A maximum of three children (0 -12 years) can share a family tent with two full paying adults.
Child rate is only applicable once shared with two full paying adults in the family tents.
Children up to the age of 3 years are accommodated free of charge.
The camp has four family tents.
Our Family Tents have been enlarged and can now comfortably accommodate 2 Adults and 3 Children 12 years and younger.

Accommodation rates are valid from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2027. Shoulder season runs from 1 January to 30 June; high season runs from 1 July to 31 December.
DBB includes dinner, bed and breakfast.
Accommodation rates include 15% VAT and 1% bed levy.
A maximum of three children aged 0–12 may share a family tent with two full-paying adults. The child rate applies only when sharing with two adults in a family tent; up to three children aged 0–3 stay free. Mushara Bush Camp has four family tents.
Etosha game-drive rates include 15% VAT, park entrance and conservation fees, and mineral water.
Scheduled drives use vehicles with six window seats and carry a maximum of nine guests. Morning drives run from 07:00 to 11:00; afternoon drives run from 15:00 to sunset.
Private game drives must be prebooked. Reservations for children up to age 8 are made at the lodge; children aged 9 and older may be booked in advance. Normal rates apply to children of all ages, and a private drive is required to guarantee a vehicle.
Complimentary transfers to and from Mokuti or Mushara Airstrip are available to overnight guests. A separate transfer requested by a pilot costs N$500. Transfers to or from Onguma are not offered.
Cancellations must be made in writing. Fees are 10% at 60–31 days, 20% at 30–22 days, 50% at 21–15 days, 75% at 14–7 days, and 100% at 6–0 days before arrival. No-shows are charged in full.
Rates are subject to change if currency devaluation, fuel costs, taxes or government levies change.
